Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Is Now Available To Members [October 25, 2024]
In today’s digital world, safeguarding sensitive data is essential, especially for financial professionals who manage confidential client information. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) has become a vital security measure, offering an extra layer of protection in today’s digital landscape. While traditional passwords serve as the first defense, MFA introduces a second level of verification.
For advisors, this added layer is crucial in building client trust and adhering to best security practices. With cyber threats constantly evolving, MFA ensures that even if a password is compromised, unauthorized access can still be prevented. It’s a proactive step toward protecting both advisor and client data, demonstrating a commitment to robust security practices.
To better align with today’s security landscape, fpPathfinder is now enabling MFA login for our members.
Currently, this is an optional feature that members can choose to enable when they’re ready, either at login, or from their Account Settings in the Profile Tab. There will be more member communication on this new login procedure in the coming months.
